Brian Lin

Managing Director

Brian is a Managing Director at Compass Health Advisors. He has spent over 25 years providing management consulting services in Information Technology and Digital Health for healthcare providers and payors. His wide-ranging national experience in IT and Digital Health strategic advisory services spans the gamut of healthcare organizations — academic medical centers, multi-state health systems, integrated delivery networks, children’s hospitals, regional payor organizations, and community-based health systems.

Mr. Lin’s years of healthcare experience affords him a deep and comprehensive understanding of the operational goals and objectives of healthcare organizations and their critical dependence on effective information technologies and clinical/business analytics. He is currently working with clients on the industry’s most pressing need to plan for and achieve transformational goals and objectives related to Digital Health and Value Based Care.

Prior to joining Compass Health Advisors, Mr. Lin was a Partner at both Gartner’s and Kurt Salmon’s Healthcare consulting practices, leading the delivery of a broad base of technology engagements including: strategic planning and roadmap development for IT, Data and Analytics, and Digital Health; application selection and contract optimization for EHRs, ERPs, VBC/PHM solutions, ancillary clinical information systems, and clinical data and analytics tools and platforms; designing and operationalizing Centers of Excellence (CoE) for analytics, business process management, and project management; robotic process automation (RPA) process assessment and improvement program management; and cyber security risk assessments and compliance assistance.

Mr. Lin holds a BA in Economics and an MA in Business Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
